Orion to belt out the tunes in Anchorage
From 01 November 2012 To 01 November 2012Address
Tap Root, Spenard Road, Anchorage, AK
Visitors to Anchorage can enjoy a night of what has been described as post-punk Alaskana and existential blues.
Those excited by such a thought - or just curious to find out what it is - can head down to the Taproot on 1st November, where Orion Donicht will be playing.
A big thing in the Anchorage music scene, Donicht has tended to play alongside other acts in the past but mainly performs solo now, according to the Anchorage Press.
He told the paper: "The first time I picked up a guitar I already knew how to hold it. As soon as I learned three chords, I started writing songs with those three chords."
Music lovers staying at the Millennium Alaskan Hotel Anchorage can reach the venue easily, as the Tap Root is just a six-minute drive away along Spenard Road.
With the Tap Root opening from 11:00 a.m. to 02:00 a.m. music fans may want to hang around a bit longer for more fun, food and drink.
