From 29 March 2013 To 21 April 2013Address
Alaska Center for the Performing Arts Inc, 621 West 6th Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99501, United States
Dead Man's Cell Phone, an imaginative new comedy from the acclaimed writer Sarah Ruhl, is heading to Anchorage in late March for a run at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts (ACPA).
The story begins in a quiet cafe, where a mobile phone rings incessantly and the man at the next table decides he has had enough.
According to the promoters, it is a work that examines the way we remember the dead - and how that process changes us as people. "It is the odyssey of a woman forced to confront her own assumptions about morality, redemption and the need to connect in a technologically obsessed world," they explained.
Dead Man's Cell Phone runs at the ACPA from Friday March 29th to Sunday April 21st and lasts for approximately 120 minutes, including a brief intermission.
The Millennium Alaskan Hotel Anchorage is only a ten-minute drive from the theatre, meaning it could be the perfect place to stay for people keen to see the show.
