A six-a-side cricket tournament is set to be a big hit in Phuket between April 15th to April 19th.

According to phuket.com, some of the big names who have appeared in previous years at the annual Phuket International Cricket Sixes tournament have included English cricketers Adam Hollioake and Alan Mullally.

Trevor Chappell, who famously bowled an underarm delivery to a New Zealand opponent to prevent him scoring a six during a crucial match, has also graced the tournament with his presence.

Each year sees plenty of sixes scored during the matches. Last year's final saw Calcutta amass a tournament record of 116 runs en route to victory over Etihad.

Sourav 'Dolly' Chatterjeem helped Calcutta set a target that their opponents could not match by scoring 32 runs off just eight deliveries.

Rajiv Seth's run rate was even more impressive - 25 runs off six balls.

Tournament debutant Melbourne lifted the Phuket plate trophy and will be looking to win the main event this year.
