Holidaymakers will be able to let their hair down and gain a deeper insight of Thailand's biking culture when they check into a Bangkok hotel next month.

On October 17th the Dragon Bike Party 2009 will take place from 18:30 local time onwards on Mae Rumphung Beach in Taphong between the Rayong and Ban Phe areas.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a programme of live music, Thai cuisine as well as BBQ food and biking fans will be able to buy accessories for their vehicles.

Event organisers say in a posting on listings website Eventful: "Another great reason to make it down to Rayong for the event is the brand new Canopy Adventure which is just ten kilometres from the party."

Those considering visiting are advised that there is a special prize on offer for anyone who wants to attempt the adventure.

Meanwhile, fans of biking with children visiting Bangkok this month may want to enjoy the Jesters Children's Fair on Sunday September 13th, which raises money for charity.

At the event attendees can have their feet massaged while their children enjoy a range of activities laid on especially for little ones.
