Anyone visiting Bangkok at the moment has picked the right time - the tenth International Festival of Dance and Music is currently taking place in the city.

This festival attracts some of the best performers from around the world to perform in the wonderful city of Bangkok.

Various highlights of the festival include Requiem, which was specially composed in the memory of Princess Galyani; a ballet called Winds in the Void; Ballet Flamenco Sara Baras from Spain; Indian Sankriti Classical Dances; G-Strings from Germany and a lot more.

The performances are on in the main hall of the Thailand Cultural Centre, and will be running until October 26th.

So don't just sit about in your Bangkok hotel - with such a diverse range of styles there is something for everyone, so make sure you waltz yourself along to the International Festival of Dance and Music.
