The Qatar National Museum serves as a showcase of the nation’s history, heritage, culture and environment. The museum is the second largest in Doha and presents visitors with an impressive range of artifacts and relics.

The complex is itself divided in to two distinct sections which are the museum and the aquarium while a lagoon in the center separates the two. The museum also features a garden connecting the different parts of the museum which features a centerpiece of a Bedouin Tent.

There are also several restored palace rooms that help visitors obtain an understanding of what architecture of that time period looked and include furniture, utensils and artifacts from the nations past. One important exhibit is the one depicting life before the discovery of oil in Qatar which presents life in a time that has long singe passed by.
