The Metropolitan Manila is a large urbanized geographical area that is comprised of several different cities and is known as ‘The National Capital Region’. The area is the home of more than 10 million residents and Manila is the second largest city in the collective region.

This mall like the many others in the area have just about every good imaginable and make the area one of the premier shopping destinations in the world.

The other alternative, tiangge, are small makeshift stalls that are clustered together and sell a wide variety of goods at bargain prices. The atmosphere and environment here is completely different from that of the malls and buyers must haggle first before purchases can be made. The best complexes that house tiangge are found in the Greenhills Shopping Center, Market! Market! and St Francis Square among others.

For the ardent shopper there can be no other destination to satisfy all possible demands other than Metro Manila. Hotels in the nearby area such as The Heritage Hotel Manila offers convenient access to this shopping destination, and the prominent SM Mall of Asia is only a short trip from the hotel.
