KMFDM are a sensational industrial band who were formed in Hambug, Germany way back in 1984.

They were originally named Kein Mehrheit Fur Die Mitleid - which loosely translates to no pity for the majority.

Their distinctive sound mixes industrial rock with metal and electro-industrial influences.

KMFDM are hugely prolific - and they are due to release their 18th studio album toward the end of February.

This will be entitled Kunst - and the group are currently on tour in order to promote their new material.

On March 21st, they are due to travel to New York in order to play a live show at the city's Irving Plaza.

Entry prices start at just $29.50 - and visitors to the city can always book rooms at the Millennium UN Plaza Hotel.

The accommodation is ideally situated just two miles from the venue - and the distance can be covered in just ten minutes by jumping in a taxi.
