BioMalaysia is Malaysia's most important and largest biotechnology conference and exhibition and is this year held in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from October 7th to October 9th.

This year the organisers are looking to have even more success than the 2007 event, which broke records itself - it attracted 7,800 participants, including 60 biotechnology experts from 30 countries who spoke at the conference, 1,100 who took part in the conference, 85 international and local exhibitors and 6,555 trade visitors.

The aim of BioMalaysia 2008 is to take biotechnology businesses closer to achieving their scientific and business objectives in one of the fastest-growing markets in the region.

This year, the theme is Strengthening Value Creation in Biotechnology, which will underscore science's escalation to market, with discovery opportunities, new technology and entrepreneurship.
