agricultural tourism. Nurturing over 140 types of both tropical and subtropical trees of fruit,
ranging from exotic to local specimens, the farm allows its visitors to sample many types of fruits
here whilst providing special tours of the plantation for the nature lover.
Covering over 25 acres of land, the orchard was created back in the early 1990’s with the
objective of conserving the exotic and rare fruit trees. Playing a significant role in supporting
agriculture and agro/eco tourism amid the intensive development that was taking place in the region
was also part of the agenda.
Tantalising the visitors’ taste buds, the orchard offers freshly prepared fruit juices,
snacks and on weekends and public holidays, a hefty BBQ buffet. Over the years, the farm has
acquired numerous exotic fruit trees from far-off corners of the world such as South and Central
America, India, Central Africa, the Pacific Islands, the Caribbean and the Middle East.
