The Killers play live at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom this autumn as part of short three-date
tour.
Having been at the forefront of the post-punk revival movement since 2002, the band has
ridden a wave of global success - selling some 12 million albums worldwide.
Their debut release Hot Fuss threw them onto the mainstream stage, featuring the smash-hit
singles Mr Brightside, All These Things That I've Done and Somebody Told Me.
Follow-up album Sam's Town was released by Island Def Jam Music in 2006, developing their
trademark sound further and cementing their status as one of America's most popular rock acts.
The band has also enjoyed massive success in the UK, where many of their key influences hail
form. Among them are such seminal groups as Joy Division, The Cure, Oasis and The Who.
Doors for the Hammerstein Ballroom gig open at 19:00 EST, and anyone visiting the city for
the show can book accommodation with a New York hotel near to the venue.
