On Sunday January 4th, Minnesota Vikings will host the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the NFL 2008-09 Playoffs.

The road to Super Bowl XLIII starts here for the two teams, which were winners of their respective divisions.

Hailing from the NFC conference north division, the Vikings ended the regular season with an impressive win percentage ratio of 0.625 per cent, with ten wins and six losses.

That was enough to place them third in the overall conference standings, behind just the New York Giants and the Carolina Panthers, both of whom are waiting to see who they will face in the next round.

This matchup promises to be one of the games of the round, and will come live from the Hurbert H Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis.
