Fashionistas visiting one of the style capitals of the world may be pleased to hear that they will be able to shop 'til they drop tonight (September 4th).

Part of a global event inspired by Vogue magazine, Fashion's Night Out will see over 700 designers and retailers keep their doors open until 11:00pm local time.

This may be good news for clothing aficionados who want to get their hands on a purchase while staying at the UN Plaza Hotel.

Not only will people be able to get a sample of late night shopping in the Big Apple, but they will also be offered a series of promotions, including free t-shirts from Gucci and makeup giveaways at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Over at Tory Burch those in need of a snack after the hours of shopping will be able to feast on a barbeque and champagne, while runway lessons will be provided by Alexander Wang.

Cities across the world will be taking part in the fashion event in order to promote retail and restore consumer confidence.
