People on the lookout for exciting places to eat out during their holiday at the Millennium Hotel St Louis may wish to try Eleven Eleven.

This is according to travel site 10Best, which states that the eatery is the best restaurant in the city and that as such, it is frequented by locals.

It is set out over two levels and people on the lower mezzanine will be able to watch their food being cooked in the exhibition kitchen.

"Set in a former factory, the restaurant is a cosy mix of brick, wood, leather and copper," 10Best states.

Offering a mixture of Californian and Italian food, the potato-crusted halibut comes highly recommended by the publication, as does the braised rabbit with goat's cheese polenta.

For dessert, visitors may wish to opt for the gooey butter cake.

Eleven Eleven is situated at 1111 Lafayette Square, minutes from downtown St Louis, meaning that it should be easy to reach using public transport.
