St. Louis Cardinals, the city's beloved baseball team, can be found hitting home runs in Busch Stadium. This new stadium opened in April 2006 and boasts a number of innovations.

This architectural wonder provides stunning views of the St. Louis skyline, including such landmarks as the Gateway Arch. Named after team owner Gussie Busch, the stadium is a masterpiece of modern design. A number of statues, situated at the stadium's entrance, depict famous Cardinals players such as Stan "The Man" Musial.

While modern on the exterior, Busch Stadium has a distinctly retro feel inside. Many of the flourishes that typified the previous stadium have been faithfully recreated, including the traditional green fences and red seats. The old score board has also been preserved as a testament to the stadium's past.

Hotels near Busch Stadium don't come much better than the Millennium Hotel St. Louis, which is located just a block away. After catching the ball game at the Cardinals' state-of-the-art stadium, you can be back at the hotel and relaxing within minutes.
