Comedian Rodney Carrington is set to make jokes a plenty in Nashville at the start of the New Year.

The funnyman will be on stage at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center at Andrew Jackson Hall on Friday, January 23rd.

His show is due to start at 7pm and ticket holders are advised that the event contains humour aimed at an adult audience.

Tickets for the evening are priced at $44.75 and are available for purchase online.

Stand-up performer Carrington is also a comedic musician, often including funny songs in his routines.

The 40-year-old has released six studio albums, including Hanging With Rodney, Greatest Hits and King of the Mountain. His singles include More of a Man and Don't Look Now.

In addition to his musical comedy, Carrington has also appeared in the 2008 film Beer for my Horses and the video for Trace Adkins' single I Got My Game On.
