News|Celine Dion to visit NashvilleOn January 13th, the Canadian diva will perform hits such as Alone, My Love and a World to Believe In, from her latest album after which the world tour is named. The record, which was released last November is already certified platinum in the US reaching number three in the Billboard 200, as well as number one in Canada and number five in the UK. Over the course of the Taking Chances global tour, Dion will play a staggering 120 shows in 88 cities across 25 countries in five different continents. It is the first tour that the gifted singer has embarked upon since 1998, having spent the last five years completing a lucrative residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Celine Dion first rose to prominence in the early 1990s when she performed the theme tune to Disney's animated film, Beauty and the Beast. Her reputation was cemented with the release of 1997's My Heart Will Go On, the theme tune for blockbuster film Titanic.
