TravelEx is located between doors 5 and 6 in the ticketing lobby. Other facilities that the airport features are portable electronic device charging stations. These stations are free of charge and allow travelers to recharge the battery on a variety of mobile devices. The airport offers storage lockers in the Lindbergh terminal which are equipped with fingerprint technology to ensure that only those who store their items can claim them. Minneapolis St. Paul is the first airport to implement such technology. Please note however that these lockers are only intended for use of 48 hours, after which they are emptied by Smarte Carte. For many tourists and business travelers their gateway to the Mid-West is the Minneapolis Airport. A hotel in this area such as the Millennium Hotel Minneapolis is an ideal option as it’s an easy cab ride to the airport as well as many other important locations in the downtown area. Lightrail leaves from the airport and runs to downtown Minneapolis where you can take a short cab ride from the station to the Millennium Minneapolis Hotel. |
