Chef Bio|Sai Sai Noodle Bar - Chef Jon ShinNotable Chef Jonathan Shin joins the staff at the Millennium Biltmore to relaunch Sai Sai as Sai Sai Noodle Bar. Shin’s father, a Japanese native, has been a Japanese cuisine chef for over 20 years; consequently Shin grew up eating traditional Japanese food and naturally over time developed a love for the craft himself. A graduate of the California School of Culinary Arts’ Le Cordon Bleu program in Pasadena, CA, Shin has gone on to work in a range of places while gaining a variety of hands-on kitchen experiences. This includes event catering, training culinary students at Summer Art Academy classes, and working at the exclusive Nobu restaurant, where he was involved in virtually all culinary capacities, including the pastry department. His vision for Sai Sai focuses on taking the traditional noodle soup with freshest ingredients to the next level at an affordable price. The menu will cater to our price sensitive travelers and local clientele in one spot with a fusion flavor of Asian and Japanese noodles. “ I look forward to bringing traditional Asian noodle soup with a modern twist to Sai Sai Noodle Bar,” says Shin.
