The historic Rendezvous Court served as the original lobby of the Biltmore when it opened 1923. Adorned with Moorish carved wood ceilings, gold-leaf accents, Italian travertine stone walls and a rose marble fountain, it is most noted for it's enormous carved bronze Baroque stairwell that overlooka the elegant 2-story lounge, now used for dining, relaxing and meeting with friends.  It has been featured often in film and television, including Daredevil, Beverly Hills Cop, the Nutty Professor, 24 and Heroes.

Afternoon Tea

Traditional afternoon tea is served Wednesday through Sunday from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Guests can choose from the $28 Victorian Tea, which includes a pot of tea from our selection of finely-blended custom teas, an assortment of elegant tea sandwiches, our famous freshly-baked scones with homemade Devonshire cream and jam and a selection of miniature pastries. For $32 you can indulge your tea by adding a glass of Sherry, Kir or sparkling wine ($45 with Laurent Perrier champagne.)  Another option is the simple yet elegant $22 Princess Tea, which offers a pot of tea, freshly-baked scones with Devonshire cream and jam and assortment of miniature pastries.  Tax and gratuity are additional.

Rendezvous Court Cafe

Open daily from 6:00am - 10:00pm, the Rendezvous Court Cafe offers fresh espresso, cappuccino and coffee drinks, freshly-baked croissants and pastries, fresh fruit and snacks, cocktails, bottled water and juices. 

Lunch & Dinner

A light menu featuring salads, sandwiches and signature dishes is available Wednesday - Sunday afternoons from 2:00pm - 5:00pm. 

La Bistecca, the Biltmore's signature Italian-style steakhouse, is featured in the Rendezvous Court Wednesday - Saturday evenings from 6:00pm - 10:00pm.  See La Bistecca's page, including menus and chef bios, here .
