From now until January 1st, Los Angeles Zoo will be offering individuals the chance to get a little bit closer to Santa's reindeers.

The Reindeer Romp will get you into the spirit of the season as you marvel at these majestic animals.

As well as the chance to see a herd of reindeer, there will also be a whole smorgasbord of festive attractions on show at the zoo.

Children will be able to make their own antlers and holiday crafts, talk to zookeepers about the animals or visit Santa and his little helpers.

They will even have the chance to get photos taken with their very own Rudolph.

All events at the Reindeer Romp are free for kids accompanying a paid adult, but there is an extra charge for the photos.

Approximately five million reindeer live in the wild, with their main habitats scattered throughout the arctic tundra and forests of North America, Europe and Asia.
