We have visited Millennium Durham several times during the past five weeks because of its connection with Duke University. We were referred to the Millennium by a friend who had recently been a patient at Duke Hospital. His experience there was so favorable that we decided we would stay there while visiting our daughter who had been a patient at Duke for about six weeks. Of particular benefit was the shuttle service provided by the hotel. What a great convenience this was. Each driver of the vans we rode in were extremely helpful and timely.

I have been staying at this hotel for medical reasons for 17 years. The staff is warm, caring, and respectful. I must say when I arrive at the Millennium I feel like I’m coming home. I might add as a recent widow, I feel extremely secure and safe when I’m your guest.

I stayed with the hotel as part of a group for a school sports team. The hotel was just fine, though the hallways look worn. Lobby and room itself were fine. The breakfast buffet was excellent – WAY better than the usual breakfast fare.

I’d like to pay a huge compliment to your shuttle driver. He personally saw to it that not only would he pick me up after my appointment at Duke South, but would take me back to the hotel, drop me off while he helped another passenger, allowed me to collect my bag and check out, and was back in 5 minutes to get me to take me to the airport. I also watched him accommodate one of the Duke Diet & Fitness Center patients when another passenger didn’t care to move to make a little more room for this guest. He treated everyone with respect and took responsibility for doing a good job.

The woman who checked me in remembered me from a stay 4 years ago! How many of your staff can do that?!! The rooms do look a bit dated and need to have a little face lift to take it up a notch. I would stay here again.
