Testimonials|What Our Guests are Saying!Judy has really been a great help to me as I have stayed there many times. My brother has been in ICU for 7 weeks in Duke Hospital. Judy is always so kind and understanding and helpful. When I am away from home, it has been a blessing to have Judy there to help me. I would like to thank Janelle, our housekeeper, for all of her help. She really made our stay pleasurable. Her smile made my day, too! The overall experience was excellent. We were visiting our grandson at Duke Hospital, so were only there briefly. We will stay again if needed. We have visited Millennium Durham several times during the past five weeks because of its connection with Duke University. We were referred to the Millennium by a friend who had recently been a patient at Duke Hospital. His experience there was so favorable that we decided we would stay there while visiting our daughter who had been a patient at Duke for about six weeks. Of particular benefit was the shuttle service provided by the hotel. What a great convenience this was. Each driver of the vans we rode in were extremely helpful and timely. I have been staying at this hotel for medical reasons for 17 years. The staff is warm, caring, and respectful. I must say when I arrive at the Millennium I feel like I’m coming home. I might add as a recent widow, I feel extremely secure and safe when I’m your guest. I had surgery at Duke and the shuttle was priceless, allowing my husband to return to the room to rest. I have stayed at the Millennium for 4 surgeries at the Duke Eye Center. The hotel is very convenient and we love the van service. We have been staying at your hotel for the past 11 years when we travel for medical appointments and refuse to stay anywhere else. The location to the Duke Clinics is the best and the van drivers are very helpful. We had a medical emergency at 4 am and your night security man could not have been more helpful! Short stay, but was impressed. Will stay again if in the area. We always enjoy our stay. Everyone is very nice. We stayed at the hotel upon recommendation from a nurse at Duke Medical Center. My husband is being treated there. We enjoy the quiet away from the hustle and bustle at the Duke Hospital area. Very nice relaxing stay! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the town and how to get around to various locations. I was very impressed with the quality of food that I had for dinner. We selected your hotel as we needed to be at Duke hospital for a few days for a family member’s surgery. The hotel accommodations were very nice, the staff excellent, and the shuttle very nice. Thank you! Very comfortable space and close to Duke Integrative Medicine where I had conference/training. A very enjoyable stay. Everything was excellent. I stayed with the hotel as part of a group for a school sports team. The hotel was just fine, though the hallways look worn. Lobby and room itself were fine. The breakfast buffet was excellent – WAY better than the usual breakfast fare. Really appreciate the special rate for medical visits at Duke Clinics. We came to Durham due to our son’s medical treatment at Duke Medical. We did appreciate your special medical rate. We will be coming every eight weeks with regard to his check ups. Thanks again. We love it. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Had a great experience. I will definitely stay again on my next visit to Duke. My housekeeper did a very good job. The selection on the menu in the restaurant/bar was superb. There is a lady at the front desk named Octavia and she made my stay a pleasure. I would stay again based on how wonderful she is. I’d like to pay a huge compliment to your shuttle driver. He personally saw to it that not only would he pick me up after my appointment at Duke South, but would take me back to the hotel, drop me off while he helped another passenger, allowed me to collect my bag and check out, and was back in 5 minutes to get me to take me to the airport. I also watched him accommodate one of the Duke Diet & Fitness Center patients when another passenger didn’t care to move to make a little more room for this guest. He treated everyone with respect and took responsibility for doing a good job. Duke Medical Center recommended your hotel to me. I have been staying with you through 5 surgeries at Duke Eye Center and many checkups. Your hotel, restaurant, shuttle service, and the people who work with you have all been wonderful and have helped me feel better through some difficult times. We only stayed one night. The rooms were very clean. They could use a little updating but overall very nice. We also ate in the bar area. The service and food was excellent. All the employees were helpful. The woman who checked me in remembered me from a stay 4 years ago! How many of your staff can do that?!! The rooms do look a bit dated and need to have a little face lift to take it up a notch. I would stay here again. Thank you for all that you did to assist us in getting to Duke Medical. Your staff was very attentive to our needs and even provided a wheelchair for transport after the medical procedure. I had an appointment at the Duke Eye Center. The hotel’s location and price/quality is very appealing. Thank you. Thanks to all the staff, especially the shuttle drivers, for all that you did for us with our unexpected extended medical stay!
