From the moment guests arrive at Millennium Hotel Durham, they will experience a unique blend of southern elegance and modern sophistication. Invite up to 50 guests the evening before your special day for a rehearsal dinner held in our warm and inviting Alumni Room. The stately furnishings and charming décor set the tone for a lovely evening. Afterwards, visit the Varsity Lounge for drinks and to get reacquainted with out-of-town guests. In the morning, join us for breakfast at Bel Gusto before the exciting day’s events.

The day of the wedding, the bride and her bridesmaids can retreat to the bridal parlor. The ample space of the parlor offers a wonderful place to prepare, take photographs and refresh while you enjoy hors d’oeuvres before the reception begins.

Another option for the cocktail hour is a beautiful outdoor terrace that provides a lively garden atmosphere. Whether your wedding is intimate or grandiose in number, the Millennium Durham has the space to accommodate your needs. Choose from a multitude of venues including an outdoor garden and two beautifully appointed ballrooms, Greenbriar and Brightleaf. Each ballroom can accommodate up to 300 guests and features a neutral backdrop for flowers, candlelit centerpieces and a multitude of lighting options. Crisp, floor-length linens veil the tables, while dimly lit wall sconces provide a romantic glow over the room.

After your picture-perfect day, husband and wife can spend the night in a complimentary suite enjoying a chilled bottle of champagne.
