A Setting with Southern Charm
From the moment guests arrive at Millennium Hotel Durham, they will experience a unique blend
of southern elegance and modern sophistication. Conveniently located within one mile of Duke Chapel
and Duke Gardens, Millennium offers an ideal place for wedding ceremonies and receptions, as well
as pre- and post-nuptial celebrations.
Invite up to 50 guests the evening before your special day for a rehearsal dinner held in our
warm and inviting Alumni Room. The stately furnishings and charming décor set the tone for a lovely
evening. Afterwards, visit the Varsity Lounge for drinks and to get reacquainted with out-of-town
guests. In the morning, join us for breakfast at Bel Gusto before the exciting day’s events.
The day of the wedding, the bride and her bridesmaids can retreat to the bridal parlor. The
ample space of the parlor offers a wonderful place to prepare, take photographs and refresh while
you enjoy hors d’oeuvres before the reception begins.

After the ceremony, wedding guests can head to the cocktail hour on the balcony, where
they will delight in three-story views overlooking gleaming marble and sparkling chandeliers.
Another option for the cocktail hour is a beautiful outdoor terrace that provides a lively garden
atmosphere.
Whether your wedding is intimate or grandiose in number, the Millennium Durham has the space
to accommodate your needs. Choose from a multitude of venues including an outdoor garden and two
beautifully appointed ballrooms, Greenbriar and Brightleaf. Each ballroom can accommodate up to 300
guests and features a neutral backdrop for flowers, candlelit centerpieces and a multitude of
lighting options. Crisp, floor-length linens veil the tables, while dimly lit wall sconces provide
a romantic glow over the room.

wedding packages. We can happily tailor menus to suit your tastes and needs. We offer an abundance
of culinary displays and stations to enhance your reception. Some include chocolate fountains, ice

guarantee professional and courteous service will be carried out by our talented staff.
After your picture-perfect day, husband and wife can spend the night in a complimentary suite
enjoying a chilled bottle of champagne. In the morning, we invite you to enjoy breakfast for two,
compliments of the house.
