On November 18th, dance-punk duo Matt and Kim will be stopping in at one of Cincinnati's leading venues for trendy gigs, The Mad Hatter.

With support from Best Fwends and The Read, they will be playing material from their up-and-coming second album, Grand.

Although they have yet to sign with a major label, Matt and Kim have enjoyed impressive success in the underground indie scene since the release of their 2005 demo CD-R, To/From and full-length self-titled debut the following year.

Matt and Kim have already garnered a strong cult following, thanks to performances at the 2007 Siren Music Festival, a free concert held in Brooklyn's Coney Island, and also at Chicago's Lollapalooza.

They also received a notable amount of airtime for singles Yeah, Yeha and 5K, the latter of which was shown on MTV Europe but was considered to be too violent for the US.

Over the next few weeks, the Mad Hatter will also be hosting performances by The Dwarves, Jessica Lea Mayfield, Frontier Folk Nebraska, The Flatliners, and other hot new acts.
