Sports enthusiasts holidaying in Chicago may be interested to hear about an enthralling baseball game in the city.

Chicago Cubs took on the Houston Astros and won 2-0 after Ted Lilly had a great game with eight shutout innings. His success was backed up by Derrek Lee two-run homer.

It was a close match, however, according to the pitcher, who had just come back to the game following a shoulder injury.

Another star of the game was Aaron Boone, who has recently recovered from open-heart surgery that he had in March, but went 0-for-3.

"Running out there I was a little nervous, but I got in the flow of the game pretty quick and at first I just handled the ball a lot. Once we got going I felt pretty good," he said after the event.

The match may inspire people staying at the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel to catch a game while staying in the city, to see the likes of Lilly take the field.

Chicago Cubs are now the two-time defending champions of the Central Division of the National League of Major League Baseball.
