Celebrate Mozart's birthday in Chicago

Date From 24 January 2013 To 24 January 2013
Address Harris Theatre for Music & Dance, 205 East Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601, United States

As part of the Harris Theatre's Music of the Baroque programme, it will stage a special Mozart celebration next month.

People staying in Chicago hotels can still book tickets to see the concert, which will be held on January 25th.

Timed to coincide with the maestro's birthday, the night will feature an exploration of his works for orchestra, piano, and voice and will see acclaimed Mozartian Jane Glover lead the glorious motet Exsultate, jubilate, the Symphony No 39 and the C minor piano concerto.

Arianna Zukerman will star in the soprano role, while Vladimir Feltsman is the pianist.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. CST, but anyone staying at the Millennium Hotel Knickerbocker Chicago, will not have to worry about setting off too early.

This is because the venue is two miles away from the hotel, so it will only take five minutes to get to the concert.
