Melody Gardot brings her lounge jazz to Paris
From 10 April 2013 To 17 April 2013Address
Olympia Hall, 28 Boulevard des Capucines, 75009 Paris, France
Melody Gardot is a singer-songwriter who is renowned for her effortlessly smooth lounge jazz musical style.
The release of her debut album Worrisome Heart was a fine showcase for this - and it featured the track Quiet Heart, which is unquestionably her signature tune.
However, her latest studio LP The Absence - which was released last year - was something of a creative departure.
It is reputedly inspired by her travels around the world - specifically Marrakech - and is much more rhythmically exotic.
In April, fans of the talented vocalist may wish to consider booking travel to Paris, as she will be performing at the city's Olympia Hall for no less than eight nights between the 10th and 17th of that month.
Ticket prices start at €45.50 for the cheap seats, while the best views in the house can be enjoyed for €84 plus booking fees.
Residents at the Millennium Hotel Paris Charles de Gaulle will be able to get to the venue in half an hour if they drive or jump in a taxi.
