News|Chicago musical gears up for six nights in BuffaloThe stage production is running for six nights at Shea's Performing Arts Center until September 27th. This means visitors to the Millennium Hotel Buffalo will have plenty of opportunities to be treated to the legendary show, which is based on the 1926 play by Maurine Dallas Watkins. Chicago has been running as a musical for more than 30 years, giving theatregoers the chance to enjoy both a satire on the city in the time of prohibition and classic songs by John Kander and Fred Ebb. The musical is already an established Broadway classic and has also been staged in other theatre hotspots such as the West End in London. Visitors to Buffalo may also be familiar with the well-known cinema adaptation from 2002, which starred Richard Gere, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renee Zellweger in the lead roles.
