Sports fans planning a break in a Buffalo hotel will soon be able to catch some NFL action.

The regular season starts this week and the Buffalo Bills begin with a trip to New England Patriots.

Bills followers will then be able to see their team in action on home turf at the Ralph Wilson Stadium on consecutive weekends, as they attempt to reach the playoffs for the first time since 1999.

First up for Dick Jauron's squad is a clash with Tampa Bay Buccaneers on September 20th 2009, followed by a game against New Orleans Saints seven days later.

There are also home games against Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins and the Patriots before the end of the year.

Anyone taking a holiday in the Millennium Hotel Buffalo in order to take in a game will, of course, also want to make a trip to Niagara Falls.

But, there are also plenty of other attractions in the area, including the Buffalo Sabres ice hockey team, the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park museum complex and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
