Canadian musician Ron Hawkins is set to bring his band - The Do Good Assassins - to Buffalo for two performances at the Town Ballroom on November 2nd and 3rd.

Doors for the gig open at 8:00 p.m. EDT - and tickets are available for just $15 when booked in advance or $17 at the door on the night.

Hawkins started his career as a member of one of the most acclaimed indie bands to come from Canada - Lowest of the Low.

The group parted ways after just two albums - but Hawkins has gone from strength to strength as a solo performer.

His latest album - Straitjacket of Love - was released last year - and his earlier works Greasing the Star Machine and Crackstatic enjoyed a considerable degree of acclaim.

Residents at the Millennium Hotel Buffalo will not have to travel very far to the venue, as a short, 15-minute drive is all that separates the locations.
