Enjoy an evening of great music with Jersey Boys
| Date | From 04 April 2012 To 31 December 2012 |
| Address | August Wilson Theater, New York |
For anyone who fondly remembers Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, taking a trip to see Jersey Boys on Broadway could be a real treat.
Currently showing at the August Wilson Theater on West 52nd Street, the show tells the story of the group's chart success from their origins as a rock and roll band in the early 1960s.
Rather than weaving their songs around a storyline like Mamma Mia! and We Will Rock You, Jersey Boys is a detailed look at the history of the Four Seasons, with each part narrated by a different band member.
Theatergoers should have plenty to talk about when they get back to their New York hotels, as the show does not shy away from gritty subject matter including the group's one-time ties to the Mafia.
However, with hits including Big Girls Don't Cry, Ain't That a Shame and Beggin', this musical is sure to have everyone dancing in the aisles too.
Jersey Boys plays from Tuesday to Saturday on Broadway, with matinees on Wednesday and Sunday.
The August Wilson Theater is just a ten-block walk from the luxurious Millennium Broadway Hotel New York, so theater fans will not have to go too far to rest their feet after all that dancing.
