Punch Brothers are a progressive bluegrass band who are relatively new to the music scene - having only formed in 2006.

However, in that time they have established a strong reputation for themselves as solid live performers.

This has won them a strong fan base - and their reputation has been compounded by their three albums.

An eponymous debut CD came out in 2008 - and this was followed by sophomore effort Antifogmatic in 2010 and Who's Feeling Young Now, which was just issued earlier this year.

Indeed, 2012 has turned out to be a very productive year for the group, as they also have an EP - Ahoy! - lined up for release in November.

On December 9th, they will be playing a gig at the Boulder Theatre - and entry costs just $26.50 when booked in advance, or $29.50 on the door.
