On the first weekend in October (3rd and 4th), the Harpoon Brewery in Boston, Massachusetts, will be hosting one of the largest Octoberfest Festivals in the whole of New England.

With the beer flowing and bratwurst sizzling, thousands of people will gather to celebrate all things German.

There will be a number of bands playing German Oompa music as visitors enjoy Harpoon's fine range of German ales, including IPA and UFO Hefeweizen.

Other entertainments come in the form of traditional German chicken dancing and keg bowling, which is sure to keep people entertained as the taps flow.

The weekend also sees the city of Boston hosting an evening of regal music by famous German composer George Friderich Handel, who some of the most revered operas and oratorios of the 17th century, at Symphony Hall.
