Boston Celtics will begin the task of winning back a title they regard as their own when the new NBA season gets underway next month.

Basketball fans planning to stay in a Boston hotel in order to take in a game will see some new faces in the Celtics team, as head coach Doc Rivers has been busy reshaping his roster after losing out in the playoffs last season.

Rasheed Wallace is the biggest signing, but the Celtics have also brought in Shelden Williams and Marquis Daniels.

Celtics begin their NBA campaign with a trip to Cleveland Cavaliers, but then play a trio of home matches at TD Garden as they go in search of an 18th championship.

The first is against Charlotte Bobcats on October 28th 2009 and the third is the visit of New Orleans Hornets on November 1st 2009.

Sandwiched in between is a mouth-watering clash against Chicago Bulls, the team the Celtics defeated in the first round of last season's playoffs, on October 30th 2009.

Sports fans staying at the Millennium Bostonian Hotel Boston will find plenty of other action to interest them, with the New England Patriots NFL franchise, Boston Red Sox MLB team and New England Revolution MLS operation all based in the city.
