News|Blue Man Group coming to BostonRunning until November 30th, the Blue Man Group show is taking place at the Charles Playhouse. Depending on the day, performances will take place at various times from 1pm to 8pm. The Blue Man Group is an experimental theatre group which incorporates music, quirky props, vast quantities of paper, interesting lighting and audience participation. Founded by friends Phil Stanton, Chris Wink, and Matt Goldman in 1987, the group intends its shows to be family friendly. Performers wear skull caps, paint their whole heads blue and wear black clothing. Shows centre on three performers who do not speak, but who instead engage in various activities. Ticket prices vary from $124 to $171 and anyone sitting in the front rows is advised not to wear anything white! Anyone who needs accommodation after the event can book into a Boston hotel.
