See Jiri Kylian operas in Boston

Date From 07 March 2013 To 17 March 2013
Address Boston Opera House 539 Washington Street Boston, MA 02111, United States

The Boston Ballet's winter season continues with an all Kylian line up between March 7th and 17th.

Celebrated chorographer Jiri Kylian will be working his magic on three well-loved operas - Johann Sebastian Bach's Wings of Wax, Mozart's Tar and Feathers and the Symphony of Psalms by Stravinsky.

This is the first time that the works will be performed in front of US audiences, so places in Boston hotels will be very sought after during the productions' runs.

Kylian was born in Prague, Czech Republic, where he went on to train at the Prague Conservatory, before working at the Royal Ballet School, London. He began his choreographic career with Stuttgart Ballet and is currently the artistic advisor of Nederlands Dans Theater.

People can get to the Boston Opera House by driving from the Millennium Bostonian Hotel Boston. Or, as the trip only takes eight minutes, a taxi could be an inexpensive alternative.
