Blue Man Group delights audiences in Boston

Date From 01 April 2012 To 10 May 2014
Address Charles Playhouse, 74 Warrenton Street, Boston, MA 02138

The Blue Man Group became a phenomenon in the early 1990s when creators Chris Wink, Phil Stanton and Matt Goldman took the theatrical show to Broadway's Astor Place Theatre in New York.

It involves three bald characters painted blue who perform for the audience and take them on a multi-sensory experience of percussion, theater, science and vaudeville to hilarious and entertaining effect.

More than 20 years later, the Blue Man Group is still going strong and you can catch them in various locations all over the world.

People staying in Boston hotels may be pleased to know that the city is one of them, with the Charles Playhouse on Warrenton Street the venue.

The show will be playing until May 10th 2014, so you have plenty of time to catch it even if you are not visiting Boston until next year - however, you might want to get your tickets in advance to avoid being disappointed.

There are performances every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with extra matinees at the weekend and the material is suitable for everyone over the age of eight.

You can get to the Charles Playhouse in around 20 minutes on foot from the Millennium Bostonian Hotel Boston.
