On October 17th, rock icon Neil Young will be performing a gig at the Hollywood Bowl with the band Crazy Horse.

The two acts have shared a very long association - working together and releasing material separately since the 1960s.

This year, the acts have put out two albums together - Americana and the forthcoming Psychedelic Pill.

It is their first work with each other since the Greendale album and tour in 2003 and 2004.

Regarding Americana - which is an album of covers and new versions of traditional songs - Young says that he wanted to bring attention to well-known verses that have dark content that has been overlooked.

Tickets for the gig are available for between $52.85 and $295.35.

Visitors to the city who are staying at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel can get to the venue by taking a 20-minute drive south-east down the Hollywood Freeway - or by booking a taxi.
