Families in search of a white and merry Christmas this year are virtually guaranteed it with a stay in Alaska.
Not only does the state have some of the most beautiful winter scenery in the whole of North America, but the spirit of Christmas is apparent in many of the region's public events.
On December 15th, the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts will be hosting a special festive concert by the Anchorage Concert Chorus.
Visitors can also learn more about Anchorage if they arrive one hour before the show, when a local expert will give a 30-minute presentation.

It will only take families just over ten minutes to drive the four miles down Minnesota Drive North to find the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts.
