Raise funds at the Alaska Sealife Center Marine Gala
| Date | From 16 February 2013 To 16 February 2013 |
| Address | Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center, Anchorage, AK, United States |
People staying in Anchorage hotels around February 16th will be able to see a special event at the Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center.
The venue is hosting the Alaska Sealife Center Marine Gala and it will be a wonderful opportunity for people from the local scientific, corporate and educational communities to meet up and celebrate the native marine ecosystem.
People will even be treated to a special lecture form William Hurley, senior vice president and chief zoological officer of Georgia Aquarium.
Some of the proceeds raised from the night will go to the maintenance of the local wildlife and the Alaska Sealife Center.
People heading to Alaska to see the event will want to ensure that they book accommodation that is close to the venue to minimize the travelling time.
The Millennium Alaskan Hotel Anchorage could be ideal as it is just a ten-minute drive away.
