On the weekend of October 3rd to October 5th, the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage will be hosting a massive number of booths selling high-quality products from right across Alaska.

More than 250 vendors will be peddling all manner of wares - everything from wilderness etchings and Eskimo drums to the latest Alaskan fashions and freshly cut flowers will be available for purchase.

The market will be open from 12:00 to 20:00 local time on Friday, 10:00 to 19:00 on Saturday and 11:00 to 18:00 on Friday.

The oldest and largest event of its kind in Alaska, it will also have a number of entertainments on show for the thousands of visitors expected to attend, including live music entertainment and an Alaskan Food Safari.

The event also marks the official beginning of pre-season holiday shopping, and provides the perfect opportunity for some early Christmas gift purchases.
