Presently the leading international film festival in Southeast Asia, the annual Jakarta
International Film Festival (JiFFest) is held on December in Jakarta, Indonesia. Organized by the
Society of Indonesian Films with the intention of contributing to reinforce the Indonesian film
industry, the Jakarta Film Festival is widely recognized as a platform to build multi-cultural
understanding among the Indonesians and beyond.
Besides the film festival, a series of vocational and educational training seminars and

Competition awards the best fiction script, best documentary script and best feature script.
