The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac), Jalan Strachan, Sentul, 51100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The Mel Brooks’ smash hit musical The Producers is set to light up the stage in Malaysia between 26th April and 11th May.
It could certainly be a highlight for anyone staying in Kuala Lumpur hotels around that time.
Most people know that it is based on the 1968 film of the same name and tells the story of Max Bialystock and Leopold Bloom as they try to make a fortune on Broadway.
However, that does not mean that listening to songs such as I Wanna Be A Producer and Springtime for Hitler will be any less enjoyable.
It has already won a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards during its own stint on Broadway including Best Book, Best Score and Best Musical and it was given the Hollywood treatment in 2005, but this is the first time the show has come to south-east Asia
It will be staged at the Performing Arts Centre, which is just a ten-minute drive from the Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur.
See work by one of Malaysia?s most high-profile contemporary artists in Kuala Lumpur.
