Thousands of Arctic Monkeys fans are set to descend on Paris hotels towards the end of January when the Sheffield rockers play the Casino de Paris on the 31st of the month.

Alex Turner, along with the rest of the group, will take to the stage at the venue to perform hits from all four of their studio albums as well as potentially some from their lesser-known EPs.

The gig is anticipated to be popular with the Parisian people as well as visitors from further afield, because the band is due back in the city in February for two further performances.

Supporting the band will be Miles Kane, who collaborated with lead singer Alex Turner on side project, The Last Shadow Puppets. 

Turner told the NME recently that he would have no qualms with Kane joining the band permanently, so audiences should be ready for some duets and hook-ups during the gigs.

The Arctic Monkeys released their fourth studio album, Suck It and See, midway through 2011 to critical acclaim.
