Wine fans staying at the Millennium Hotel Paris Opera can enjoy sampling a variety of vintages at an international event.

This year's Great Wines Fair runs from November 21st until November 22nd and organisers of the event expect 20,000 people to attend.

The fair is taking place at the Carrousel du Louvre shopping centre which has numerous cafes and restaurants for those seeking a meal and wine tasting.

Visitors can reach the shopping centre by public transport or car as parking is available.

In addition to tasting the huge array of wines on offer the fair also features many exhibitions regarding the samples.

A staggering 100 wine producers are to showcase their wine at the event with visitors able to choose from a mixture of established and newer companies.

Wine tasters can attend the fair from 10:30 until 20:30 each day.
