Salon du Livre returns to Paris

Salon du Livre, the Paris Book Fair, will bring tens of thousands of literary enthusiasts to the French capital when it takes place towards the end of March.
Now in its 33rd year, the Paris Book Fair is expected to attract 35,000 visitors and exhibitors from 45 nations, with no other global book-related event bringing together such a wide variety of attendees and industry partners at this high a level.
Flagship events for the 2013 edition of Salon du Livre include a spotlight on Romanian literature, a showcase on the diversity of French cooking and the opportunity to browse a huge selection of art and collectors books.
"This ongoing endeavour makes the Paris Book Fair the must-attend event in the international publishing calendar thanks to its diversity, cultural wealth, vitality and strong capacity for innovation," the organisers explained.
Attendees will find the venue, the Porte de Versailles expo centre, is just a 20-minute drive from the Millennium Hotel Paris Opera.
From June 7th to July 27th, Paris will be celebrating its 20th Jazz Festival at the Floral Park.
There can't be a more magical sight than watching the stunning fountains of the Palace of Versailles dance to a soundtrack of music, transforming into different colours.
2014 sees the city of Paris celebrate the 12th edition of the Cinema Festival, taking place from July 5th to 12th.
