Keane to visit Paris on Strangeland tour in October

View on Map
Date From 17 October 2012 To 17 October 2012
Address Olympia Hall, 28 Boulevard des Capucines, 75009 Paris

British band Keane first formed in 1997, although it was not until 2004 and the seminal album Hopes and Fears that they hit the big time.

The group has achieved a number of hits including Somewhere Only We Know, Spiralling and Is It Any Wonder?, as well as scooping several awards during what has proved to be an illustrious career so far.

Setting them apart from other alternative bands, they usually use a piano or keyboard as their lead instrument as opposed to guitars.

This year marks the release of Keane's fourth studio album Strangeland and guests at Paris hotels can hear tracks from it showcased at Olympia Hall on 17th October.

However, the band is also likely to dip into their extensive back catalogue to delight fans on the night.

Residents of the Millennium Hotel Paris Charles de Gaulle can get to the concert venue in 26 minutes by road, so hiring a car for the evening may be a good option.
