Typically, screenings are held in places like public squares and parks, and give audiences the chance to watch movies with only the moonlight and the stars above them.

Organised by the Forum des images, the event offers a selection of ten films, including classics, timeless masterpieces and movies by young directors.
And ardent film fans will find the Forum des images is particularly interesting in its own right. Formed in 1988, it was designed to create an audiovisual memory bank of Paris. Nowadays, it celebrates cinema in all its forms.
