Address Ile Seguin, between Boulogne-Billancourt and Sevres, Paris

Travel to Paris this autumn to experience a special event in the city exploring contemporary art and cutting-edge creativity.

The Cube Festival will come to Ile Seguin - an island in the Seine - for its fifth annual outing from 27th September to 7th October 2012.

This international celebration of digital art is described by its organisers as "an exploration of different forms of art and the issues that link creation and innovation, art and new technologies".

For its 2012 edition, the festival will be broadening its scope with a programme focusing on the newest visions from the field of digital art and inventive uses of modern technology.

The event's fifth anniversary will be marked with the introduction of the Cube Award, which will honour a young artist under the age of 35 who has demonstrated the potential for innovation and expression within digital arts.

Pay a visit to Ile Seguin to take in some of the unique sights on offer at the Cube Festival during a stay at the Millennium Hotel Paris Opera.

The island, which is currently being redeveloped and transformed into a new cultural hub for the French capital, is situated in the Seine river between the districts of Boulogne-Billancourt and Sevres in the city's western suburbs.
