Getting to see some of the most amazing items of jewellery and incredible gems can be a real thrill, even if the designs come with a very high price tag.
As the world of jewellery design becomes ever more diverse and exciting, taking a trip to the Malaysia International Jewellery Festival this year could offer people staying in hotels in Kuala Lumpur the chance to see the changes that are taking place within the industry.
Recognised as being the biggest jewellery event in Malaysia, the festival will take place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and house more examples of flawless diamonds and stunning rubies and emeralds than anywhere else in the country.
Opening on 7th October, the event will run for four days and will see some of the finest jewellery producers from across Asia showcasing everything from platinum designs and jade creations, through to antique pieces.
And anyone who does decide to take home a very special souvenir from their stay in the Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur may be pleased to hear the Malaysian government has decided to waive tax on the items on sale, offering the chance to pick up a great deal.
